AATU dry food

Does any one use this food? I've not heard about it before but it looks like one of the best on all about dogs food site. I'm currently using Millie's Wolfheart. Is it much the same as Millie's?

This was one of the dry foods recommended by my vet, the other one was Canagan; both grain free and good quality.

I also searched on All about dogs and Aatu does seem to come out as probably the best dry food on the market. Millies Wolfheart isn't in the same league as far as I can gather.

I'm in the process of changing my dog's food from wet to dry at the moment and was going to go with Aatu but have plumped for Canagan as I can't buy Aatu locally and can't be bothered to do it online.

My dog has always been a reluctant eater, which is why I'm changing, but I've been mixing Canagan in with her wet food (we're on the 3rd day of changeover today) and she absolutely loves it. In fact last evening she sat staring into my eyes until I fed her and she just fell on her food really enjoying it.

Never happened before.

Sorry I know you're not asking about Canagan. I'm just really enthusiastic about it as I've never seen my dog eat like this. :)

We feed Millie's and our lab is doing great on it. AATU looks like a good food, the one thing your careful of is 80/20 food can sometimes cause loose stools and wind in some dogs if over fed, it only takes a few grams to make a difference. We tried Eden which is also an 80/20 before Millie's and we just couldn't get the balance right.

I've started using it, ingredients wise I think it looks like the best on the market at the moment. The dogs absolutely love it, even fusspot DDog1 has been getting excited about it, and it seems to suit them (I feed a half kibble/half raw diet so they only have the AATU for breakfast).

Rowan seems to be enjoying it and it's only slightly more expensive than Millie's. The advantage is that I can buy it locally from Pets at home.

I've put my my GR back on Orijen going to try Six Fish to see if it can sort out his skin, there is a minor but definite irritation and runny poos with hoping the Barking Heads he's on atm. Fingers crossed Orijen will clear it up but oh dear lord the farts!!! I think it's the pea fibre... Have a look at Orijen, I'm impressed with the ingredients list.
