friends dog missing - please help

Friends dog ran off in cheadle (abney hall park) at 3:30, they've been searching since but had to abandon as its dark. Rang 101 and got out of hours dog warden no, is there anything else they can try? Dog is microchipped too.

He's been found on the train tracks. Sad outcome but at least they have his body to take home. Thanks for everyone's help. Xx

So devastated to read this today. I'm very sorry, for him, his owners and you. It sounds like you all did everything you could and he was very much loved.
Could I ask how old he was? I hope he wasn't too young.

Connie update was that he was found on the train line. Not a happy outcome.
