Dog being sick

Dog is 12 month old lab

Far as I know not eaten anything he should not of though may in woods while playing
He is drinking and playing and complaining he is starving but was sick once yesterday tea time then in night and twice today but in between is his normal happy self
No indication of any pain or feeling sorry for self (accept hungry ) is pooing and peeing as normal

Do I just keep eye on ?whag point do you call vets

I usually feed a diet of say chicken and rice for 24 hours and monitor. More then 48 hrs or a change in behaviour and go to the vets.

Thank you chicken fed and he is complaining he is starving to everyone ad looking at you with big sad eyes as only a lab can
