So my lovely dog ate an ibuprofen today, saw the chewed wrapper and just sighed as didn't think it would be too bad as it was just one tablet but thought to myself il just give the vet a quick call just to be on the safe side. I am so glad i did!! They told me to bring him in straight away as it's actually really toxic to dogs and can cause renal failure and then death. So after making him throw up, a charcoal food mix and a drip my lovely dog is now home and will hopefully be fine( blood tests next week just to double check kidneys). Just wanted to spread awareness Flowers

Flowers for your dog - not to be chewed though! Thanks for the info.

How stressful for you, hope you're getting some sleep now, thanks for the heads up.
