I changed my dogs' food to IAMS. Bought two big sacks, thinking they'd love it. Good quality food etc.

Nope.

The cats really like it though.

What brand is best? They're Labradors.

IAMS was like rocket fuel to my dog and really isn't that good quality in my eyes. We use Canagan which seems to be better.

IAMs in one word is shite, our vet likened it to fast food for dogs. We've got our lab on Millie's Wolfheart wet and dry, her coat is shiny, her nails are strong and she loves it

A good guide is to not buy any of the shit on sale at vets or supermarkets, enter your dogs details in allaboutdogfood.co.uk for proper, quality suggestions. It even tells you how much to feed them.

We used the All About Dog Food site to research foods too.

We use Millie's, canagan or orijen

Pricey but can't logistically do raw so next best thing

Started with Canagan, which was good but ddog, a Working Cocker prefers Millie's - which does work out a little less expensive if you buy in bulk. His favourite is the Hunter's - a very high protein mix, but the amount he needs is tiny.
