We gave our dog up to a rescue organisation, but we want her back, it was only a day ago. They've said no, we are desperate, is there anything we can do??

You must have had a good reason to give it back. Are you being pressured by kids to take it back, even if you know its a mistake? I don't know the circumstances but, there's no shame in being responsible for the good of the animal.

Legally? If you signed something to transfer ownership, no, probably not.
What changed that you now want her back?

It doesn't sound like you have thought any of this through. The dog is probably better off at the rescue, unless there is a massive drip feed in the next post.

I think if you signed her over then legally she is now theirs and there is nothing you can do. Why did you hand her over? Did you contact her breeder or get support from a behaviourist before doing something so drastic? What has happened that means what made you want rid yesterday has altered and you want her back today? I'm sorry but I think you have lost your pup now.
