Any help at all from you wise doghouse ladies and gents would be most appreciated. My 7yr old lab x staffy nacho has not long had the big op on his left ear to sort the blood vessels in his affected ear. All was healing well until i noticed tonight he has another 2 swollen areas in his ear and one is at the scab site Sad what can i do? He has had problems with his ears, clawing at them and hr bites his paws and has done since i got him. He is on james wellbeloved food as i found it was one that suited him but im really am at a loss and i hate seeing him sore and miserable from his ear.

Poor thing. We had a rottie that had a similar issue, though I've no advice as we never resolved it. She scratched at her ears so often she got haematomas, and even ended up with cauliflower ear from the swelling. She would pull the feathers from between her pads too, her feet would bleed

Switching her to raw food did help a lot, so I'm assuming it was an grain allergy of some sort

My aunties sister has 2 golden labs and her boy one has the same problem and has ended up with cauliflower ears and has it in both ears. Im just thankful its only in one for nacho but its in the ear that never used to bother him and the ear that did doesnt any more :/
