Why does she only eat my shoes?

We have a 14 month lab.
There are four people in this house - but the silly mutt will only chew my shoes! WHY?
They were even put away - she went into room where the shoes are kept and made her choice.

Her choice is always my more expensive or favourite pairs. I think she has good taste, but she could at least chew a pair of my DH's shoes!

She prefers the smell of your feet over everyone else's?

They must really smell!!

Could be two reasons. If yours are leather shoes, that could be why. One of our dogs used to love eating leather.... shoes, belts wallets. Or it could be that she loves you most and wants to gnaw on the shoes that smell of you.

My lab is almost 5mths old and only ever goes for my boots! Im guessing its because they are leather rather than DH's smelly trainers! Not interested in any of the girls shoes either. Only mine! and my fluffy slippers!
