Puppy with car sickness

Any tips or remedies? He is fine on main roads and long journeys, but not good on local trips as there is a lot of stop and start, roundabouts, turning corners etc (driving as it is commonly known). I have read they grow out of it?

is there a puppy equivalent of a travel sickness pill?

Thanks

Mine has a serious problem, she vomits all the time. I have got a calming spray (no use) and a very expensive Adaptil collar on advise from the vet but although she is not her usual jumpy self, I have not seen much difference in the car.

The vet also mentioned that they can take a Cerenia tablet for long trips, unfortunately... He also told me they are £20 per tablet (not sure if that is true).

In the meantime, and while the Adaptil collar still works, I have been sitting with her in the car, sitting with her inthe car switched on, and driving her to the park at the end of the road, in the almost vain hope that she could get used to it.
