A few months ago we moved from a house with a garden (grass and gravel) to one with just a courtyard (slabs and gravel). Except on two occasions, Glassesdog1 refuses point blank to toilet here, she would rather burst!
Obviously we take her out regularly to the nearest grass to do her ablutions. With winter approaching it would be amazing if she would agree to do at least her last wee of the day in the relative comfort of her own yard and save me the hassle of having to get togged up to take her out.
She happily used the gravel at the other house but clearly this house has the wrong sort of gravel
. She's a nervous nellie rescue and we haven't done anything to make her worried about it, she just has that look of ' I'm not doing that!' when we let her out.
We have tried bringing poo's back from walks and putting those down, didn't work. Artificial grass was met by a look of disdain. I'm not sure what else to try? Any advice gratefully received.
I should add that Glassesdog2 has no such foibles and merrily craps and wees everywhere!
