Recommend me a pointy- nose proof bin... Please!

We have a lurcher who is impeccably behaved but has a habit of opening the bin and raiding it. It's a big standard pedal bin and I would rather not spend a fortune on a replacement- can anyone recommend one she can't use her long pointy nose to open?!
We do keep the bin in the utility room and the doors meant to be kept closed but the dc keep leaving it open Confused

Make the dc clean the mess up until they can remember how to close a door?

Child locks like this one can go on bins fairly easily. Dogproof, but DC can be taught how to open them if they need to put stuff in the bin?

I hadn't thought of the child proof lock, that would probably work.
Youngest dc is only two so hasn't grasped the concept of closing doors but the older two do help clear up the mess! It would just be easier not to have to worry about keeping the door closed constantly

I've got this...it's got a button for opening and is about as dog proof as a bin is going to be I reckon, a pretty determined dog could knock it over, but other than that it's good.

We have a simple human bin. Defeated MIL and labrador. Has a locking catch so knocking it over won't work. They were in dunelm but we got ours on line somewhere.

Thanks all, think a touch top lid would do the trick so will try to find one tomorrow Smile

We got one that works by pressing a button to open it from Dunelm for about a tenner. It works great when DH remembers to close it. Our dog is a fiend when it comes to bin-raiding.

Defeated MIL and labrador.
