Dog sitting -very worried

Hi all,

I'm currently helping dog sit for some friends who are away for a month. This is week 3. Dog is 10 years old. Terrier cross.

Week 1 he was fine. Week 2 he was quieter. Week 3 he seems to have crashed. Sometimes refusing walks, not eating enough, won't play, no barking. He just lies or sits with his eyes closed. He seems really depressed. This has been going on, to a varying degree, since Friday. No signs of pain, no limping or crying when touched.

Any ideas anybody? Should we get him to a vet? V worried about him :(

Thanks

Yes. Straight to the vet. This afternoon. No question at all.

I would also take him to a vet ,just to be on the safe side .

Thank you. We've spoken to the owner and we're getting him checked out by the vet.

Apparently he has been like this once before, when his first owner died. I think he is missing his current owner. But we're seeing a vet tomorrow morning, just to be sure.

Thanks for the advice
