What is the latest advice for feeding after an episode of sickness?

My dog was sick earlier today. She ate some poo whilst out on her walk and was sick about 2hrs after getting home. This was an hour or so ago. There have been no further episodes or any diarrhoea (so far!) and she seems ok in herself.

I have read conflicting advice about whether she should miss her next meal or not and also whether she should be given bland food (of the chicken and rice variety) or be fed her normal diet.

Any advice gratefully received.

The most up to date advice is to carry on with normal diet as the gut is supposed to heal better with food in it. Also makes sense not to suddenly change diet to chicken and rice when dog's not used to it. Of course don't try to make dog eat if doesn't want to.

I would feed as normal too.

Thank you. I have fed as normal. So far so good!
