Anyone got any experience?
We are waiting to hear back from the vet with results from sample taken from the lymph glands.
Our lab is nearly 13 so we are being realistic with the results but just wondered if anyone been through this?

Not a dog, my cat has lymphoma...there are non invasive treatment options, but I believe they are more successful in cats than in dogs.

Chemo is quite successful at prolonging survival from weeks (if untreated) to months (if treated) and is not really associated with the awful side effects we think of in human protocols. But there would be weekly sessions on a drip and weekly or fortnightly blood tests and associated costs, and stress on you and your dog, plus no guarantee of course of efficacy. At nearly 13 I would think carefully.
