Has anyone lost a dog in cambridge

My husband found a dog in Cambridge countryside yesterday, has anyone lost theirs or know of anyone, I've checked online registers etc and am waiting for office hours to check with local shelters etc

No tags I take it. Makes it much easier if they have telephone numbers on tags.

We have a land line I keep phoning but no answer its from out of area I suspect they're here on holiday, or on holiday and someone here is looking after it

You probably know this, but any vet and most rescues or council pounds will scan for a microchip if you can take the dog to them ( for no charge )

What type is she? An akita cross is reported lost near Ely on DogLost
