Does you dog LOVE getting their ears cleaned or do I just have an odd one?!

My GSDxSpringer gets his ears from his Springer side so they need cleaned regularly. He seems to really enjoy it. He pushes his head into my hand and half closes his eyes, looks like he's in heaven.

I went to get a tissue for my nose earlier and he must have thought it was ear cleaning time because he sat in front of me whining for a bit and looking at the tissue. I took the hint and went and got his ear cleaning stuff and he sat with his tail wagging and a big grin :)

I always thought ear cleaning would be a chore for both of us but I think he sees it as a wee Spa session! x)

Neither of mine are especially into ear cleaning, but my younger boy is absolutely obsessed with having his teeth cleaned. He has been known to get his head stuck in the bag with the grooming kit trying to steal his toothbrush!

Older lad absolutely hates it, but Pip actually begs for us to do it and also tries to mug us when we're doing the other dog's teeth. Mind you, he does have lovely sparkly teeth because of it.

We've never cleaned our female lab's ears, but she loves having them tickled inside (I don't do it, it goes through me!) but when hubby or DSS do it she groans really loudly , leans on them and shuts her eyes.

Our boy does the same thing MA when I swizzle a cotton wool ball around in his ears, and come to think of it our past boy did as well.

My big dog constantly has issues with her ears so she has them cleaned regularly. She loves it too! Not to the point where she'll wag her tail when we get the cleaning products out though, haha!
Whilst cleaning them, she does smile and lean right in. She also loves DH giving her a good scratch behind the ears and her back leg will usually join in too

They're funny, aren't they? My friend has a spaniel that hates having her ears done and has suffered a few infections so I am very glad he likes it!

We're still to tackle the teeth cleaning. He mostly eats the toothpaste and I can't get to his teeth much but we're practising. Would be nice if he got excited about that too!

My girl is like this. Sits there with a silly grin on her face and groans as I rub an ear wipe around! Silly dog. She's a lab - doesn't need her ears cleaned, but she likes it so I do it.

Actually I think I'm probably the silly one!

Hehehe, our two quite enjoy it once they realise I am not trying to murder them. I think it feels good, like having an itch scratched or something
