Zzzzzz grrrr - foxes

Oh so tired... Ddog sleeps downstairs in the kitchen- he's normally good as gold and we don't hear a peep out of him until I go down in the morning

5am this morning he starts barking and barking

I go downstairs and there's a big dog fox standing on the other side of the patio door staring at him. It obviously thinks Ddog is no threat as it then retreated to the shed roof and glared at him from there

Ddog was besides himself so I've brought him upstairs with me- he's now taking up half the bed but at least is fast asleep again

Eric went bonkers the other night at half two. I've no idea what set him off though as couldn't see anything when I looked although the barking probably sent them on their way. It's reassuring in a way though that he'd let us know if there was anything lurking although I'm not sure anyone would think he was a deterrent if they caught sight of him
Hope you are both getting some sleep now.

Our foxes used to find squeaky dog toys in the neighbourhood and play with them in our garden. Drove mine absolutely batshit some nights.

Can you get blinds up or something? For the most part mine ignored our foxes unless they squeaked or screamed.
