Dog going bonkers!

He's on rest due to an injury and we've got two more weeks of this hell. He's taken to scratching my furniture and he's never done this before. What on earth can I do to entertain him? Poor love is clearly bored.

I gave him tissues to shred but he got very bored, very quickly. He's not got the longest attention span at the best of times and is really missing the social stimulation of his walks. Any tips would be much appreciated please. Thank you.

Does he like hunting for treats? I played a game with my dog hiding treats to scent out. Maybe training some new tricks?

Frozen stuffed Kong?

He doesn't like hunting but he might be bored enough to consider it. Aah yes, the kong, I shall fish it out.

Lots of training sessions. Wear him out mentally.

How long has it been already ? my dog is on 4-6 weeks rest and we are into week 3 the first week was dodgy but now he is quite settled , I think he has forgotton about going for walks .
