Does anyone have a VW Sharan and a dog guard?

If so, could you tell me which one it is - do we need to get a super duper VW one or will a generic make be as good?!

Thanks if you can help!

Hi there. I've got one in my Audi from these guys www.travall.co.uk
It's solid, very easy to install and remove and, unlike some I've had, doesn't rattle at all. They're not exactly cheap, but I don't think they'll be as expensive as buying one from a VW dealer. They have lots,so I'm guessing they'll have one for your Sharan too.

Fabulous, thanks so much, that's really helpful.

glentorres - how easy are they to take out? We've just got a new car and ddog's travel crate is taking up most of the boot so was thinking of a dog guard but dh sometimes needs to transport his bike to races so needs the full length of the back of the car with the rear seats flat - he's a bit Hmm about how long it will take to get a guard in and out ...

basildonbond - It take about 10 minutes to assemble and install the first time, but after that it takes about three minutes to remove, and the same time to re-install. Hope that helps.

basildonbond - forgot to say. You can fold the back seats down without having to remove the guard, so the bike should easily go underneath.

fab - thanks

We have the vw one and it's so easy to put in and take out . It's brilliant and very strong seats can be folded ect

Panicmode1 · 03/05/2015 08:21

mylittlepotofjoy - that's good to hear because the travall one means that we can't use the 3rd row. We are a family of 6 so I need to have the dog on one side and a child on the other. So I think it looks as though it has to be the VW one after all!
