Dremel grinder for dog's nails

If anyone uses a Dremel can you tell me which model?
My lab's got v thick black nails which I can't cut so he's been going to a groomer. But she only cuts tiny bits off so they're still too long.
I think they need to be trimmed every few days to get the quick to recede, am hoping a Dremel would do the trick.

I'd never heard of this so checked Amazon - have you checked the reviews on there regarding these type of implements?

I can't imagine my dogs allowing me to use something like a grinder on them. Most likey I wouldn't see them for dust once I switched it on.

I use it on the lowest setting with a part worn sanding pad. He's quite happy to sit and be filed. Don't put pressure on, just let it file away gently and if you have a longer haired breed probably best avoid as fur can get wrapped around the head of the Dremmel. Keep it moving as you go and make sure you hold to toe you are working on.

adora you can desensitise them to a Dremmel. I use mine for craft stuff in the house a lot so he's very used to the noise anyway.

I've got a pet nail grinder, but tbh it's not up to the job (large dog, large nails, lol) so I'm upgrading to a dremel soon.

He lets me do it no bother though, a few biscuits and after the first few times he just looks a bit confuse as to why I feel the need to do it but happy to take the reward, lol

Thats kind of what convinced me to try the Dremmel tab, the pet one wasn't powerful enough but same principal.

Murph is daft though, once he's flaked out on your knee at night I don't think he'd care what you did to him.

Thanks for replies. I'd checked Amazon and the Dremel specifically for pet grooming didn't have good reviews. The other models didn't say anything about using it for pets.
I don't think my lab will be bothered by the noise so will give the 3000 a go.

3 seconds per nail, feel the nails occasionally to check they are not too hot.

I'm a big grinder fan but they do get hot so only 3 seconds per nail, you can always come back later if not short enough.
