Dog brush for short thin coat

DD has a very short spikey coat like a staffy she sheds quite a bit at times but ive tried standard double sided bristle brushes that do nothing to her coat and the fur still moults need something to actually remove to hair instead of just gliding over it with no pick up

I use a Mikki rubber grooming glove or Mikki rubber palm pad on my whippets (they have very short, fine single coats) and they both work a treat.

I've also heard very good things about the Kong Zoom Groom but I haven't got round to getting one yet.

I also have a mikki glove for my sighthounds, but used to use a zoom groom on my Stafford, far more effective on a shedding double coat imo.

I have a rubber mitt and a kong zoom groom, the ZG is fantastic, it gets out all the loose hair. Get one, you'll wonder how you ever managed without one!

Will be ordering a zoom groom then I've seen them in the pet store but thought the bristles were to far apart for a short haired dog

Off to google Zoom Groom have a Rhodesian Ridgeback so sight hound with very short single cost like a whippet, little ginger spiky hairs everywhere

I thought that too at first username, but now I don't think it would work very well on long haired dogs. Look how much it got out of my greyhounds (so very short haired!) coat! And that's not including all the hair I'd already chucked in the bin!

I am definitely picking one of those up later.

This is Sprockets first brush of the year using only the ZG (that pic was last years) this is all the hair I managed to stop from drifting away in the breeze! ZG placed there for scale.
