Extra long but extra light recall lead wanted.

I have a very small Chihuahua, her recall is good on the whole but if spooked not so reliable. A lorry blew a tyre on a road near us on Sunday and luckily she was next to me, the bang was huge and she would have been off like a rocket if she had been off the lead. She does like a good dash around though but can get through the tiniest of gaps. I can't for the life of me find a secure field to let her run in .

All the recall leads I have seen are at least an inch wide with a chunky clasp. Good for labs etc.

Any one seen any designed for smaller dogs?

Could you use a retractable lead? They are usually thin.

You want a tracking line rather than a longline lead...they're about the size of a washing line or thinner.

Have you looked at house lines? I have a really thin lightweight long house line that I no longer need, if you pm me your address I'm happy to send it to you, rather than drop it at the charity shop!
