How do I go about finding overnight dog care?

We are going to be going to a wedding soon and will need to stay away for a night, possibly two.

How do you go about finding dependable dog care?

I toured all the local kennels, chatted to the owners and looked at the facilities. The one we chose gave DMutt a half day visit to get used to the staff before we left her overnight- no charge made for this.

Do you have Streetlife in your town/village? If you google it, you could ask there. I've found all sorts of people to help with all sorts of things through it.

Ask your vet for any recommendations.
Is there any family member who could stay at your home with the dog or have the dog at their's.
