Cleaning up dog wee...

We've had a few accidents with Fdog and got through 2 bottles of that Urine Off spray...you have to use loads for each wee! I'm sure I have heard on here of people making their own with biological washing powder, does anyone have a recipe? TIA

No recipe just mix it with a bit of water and spray.

That's easier than I thought thanks! Does it get rid of the smell and the stain? Do you use it the same way, soak the area?

We bought a carpet cleaner and special floor detergent for dog mess. Simultaneously we worked on her behaviour. By the time the carpet cleaner arrived he behaviour was checked. I think we've only used it for one wee since then!

We used a carpet cleaner to completely rid carpet of any dog mess. As soon as we had returned it to the shop- one of those hire for 24 hour jobs- the dog promptly pissed sprinkler style all over 3 rooms... I think he missed his pee scent in the house Angry

Once you have an empty spray bottle mix up

  1. 1/3 biological washing powder
  2. 1/3 any general pet disinfectant (don't contain ammonia)
  3. 1/3 water

Once a week, vinegar water, or baking soda before vacuuming rids smells.
