Hi I'm christening my son in the summer and I see this as a opportunity to raise some money for non-profit animal charities which are really close to my heart ! Any ideas on what I could do to make it fun tombola for example ?? Has anyone ever done this before at parties ??

You could ask for simple donations directly to the pet charity, in lieu of christening gifts. I'm not sure about tapping your Christening guests for charitable donations. Perhaps they would be better as separate events?
