Going on holiday with dogs

I would like to book a walking holiday with my teenagers and 2 dogs this summer.

We've never taken the dogs on holiday before so does anyone have any tips or recommendations.

Forrest Holidays are brilliant, can't recommend them enough.

Check the small print, some places accept dogs, but don't allow you to leave them unattended...which means no meals out or anything like that.

We did leave our dogs while we went to Go Ape whilst staying at Forrest Holidays, we weren't supposed to but no one said anything.

I think our ranger had fallen slightly in love with one of our dogs so forgave us for being a bit naughty!
