And we have survived
This time last week we made the 10 hour round trip to pick up our gorgeous rescue pup. He's 4.5 months old, has legs like a gazelle, teeth like a piranha and is a wriggly, squirmy bundle of joy.
So far we have had one sleepless night, no accidents in the house and he has learned to sit, down, give a paw etc. He lets us sleep in until 7.30 am
Our other rescue dog adores him although she has told him off a couple of times which has made him a tad more respectful. We have had dogs for many years but each time a new baby comes along I'm amazed how quickly they learn and adapt. Dogs are amazing things.
He has other littermates in rescue waiting for their forever homes. It was so hard to leave This little girl behind. She is utterly gorgeous and the photo's don't do her justice. It's so hard to just pick one
So, the next few weeks/months will be training, training and more training. I'm not sure he can keep up all this perfection so I may well be back to pick everyones' brains but fingers crossed he's made a good start.
