Cage cover recommendations please?

Just that really.
Got an extra large cage, never move it, just need a cover that's reasonably priced to act as shade.
Room is warm in summer but well ventilated, need something to stop the sun shining in his eyes!

ah, well, I have the perfect solution.

I bought a door curtain. I got mine from a charity shop (the ladies were highly amused when I said it was for my dog!), but you can get them from Ebay. They are nice and thick and lined (keeping out the sun therefore discouraging a certain someone from deciding to wake up with the birds!) but well ventilated so not like a man-made fibre cage cover which can be sweaty.

It has to be a door curtain to cover an extra-large cage, which I have.

Ooh, thank you, they come in lovely colours too!

I put an old duvet over our pup's crate - worked perfectly

I have a large crate for my dog and made a crate cover out of a cheap double duvet.

That's brilliant. Grin

I measured the top and cut it out with an extra inch all round. Then measured all the way round the crate up to the crate door. Cut that out with an extra inch all the way round too. Cut out the material for the "door" making sure it would overlap and then stitched on the sewing machine.

Easy Grin
