She's a Parson's Russell, brown & white, orange collar, she's been gone about 3 hours! Panicking majorly, as she's my Mum's dog, my two came back, but no sign of her at all!! If you are in the area or know anyone who lives nearby could you please pass the word around. Thank you

Have you put up a poster and info on DogLost? They will spread it to their local members who will keep an eye out.

Swifey · 07/03/2015 16:28

Thanks for replying, is it a website?

Facebook. Twitter. Local Vet. Pet shop window.Dog warden on Monda morning if she isn't back. Jack Russells are notorious for getting stuck down rabbit or fox holes, I know several who have done this, could this have happened to her? Is she microchipped and wearing a tag? Keeping everything crossed for you that she is back soon.

Bumping, she's gorgeous.

Seconding DogLost, they will get posters out and have volunteers who alert others in the area. Good luck with your search.

Have you posted a message on Facebook Page Shout Out Calne?

Swifey · 07/03/2015 16:42

This is when I reali that maybe I should be on Facebook and Twitter!! I will register in the lost dog site, my husband is out searching for her still, and friends in the village are looking too! She has an orange collar on, and is microchipped! But has a very strong will, and can be a total madam!!

Does your village have a facebook page? (mine does) if so get a friend who is on facebook to post on it, ditto twitter. Knock on doors anywhere near where she was last seen and generally get word around to as many people as possible. Pop into the pub and tell anyone in there, that sort of thing.

SirVixofVixHall · 07/03/2015 16:50

Oh and terriers normally return to wherever they last saw you. So that is the place to keep watch on. (You may be terrier savvy but didn't mention what your dogs are so thought it worth saying).

VivaLeBeaver · 07/03/2015 17:06

Join fb, it takes minutes to register. There will be local groups, so search for your town or village and then post on their groups.

Swifey · 07/03/2015 17:27

She's been found!!! Thank you so much everyone!! Xx
