Torn den claw

DDog tore his den claw this morning. Bit of bleeding but its stopped now. He doesn't seem to be in pain. Just a bit worried because now the claw is sticking out at a 45 degree angle to his leg. Is this vet time? It just looks like it would be really easy to injure again (especially as a lot of walking is through fields)

You should probably have it looked at. Sometimes they need trimming so they don't catch on things and they quite often become infected when damaged like this.

Thanks five I noticed it was cracked so I've got a vets appointment in the morning.

That's good. Broken nails can be very painful for dogs.
