Dog suddenly scared ?!

Very confident 8 month old puppy very bouncy and loves people.In the last week she's started house guarding pacing garden barking non-stop.She barks if someone walks past the house. Now she has become very clingy to me and hides from others even my DD! DD did accidently tread on her last week so not sure if shes baring a grudge?! It's like she has a new personality this week!

Are you sure she doesn't have an injury/pain of some sort. Might be worth a quick once over at the vet just in case.

If the vet comes back all clear I'd bet she's going through a fear period.You need to be extra-careful and make sure she has loads of positive experiences now.

Thanks guys! She got a huge amount of male attention today although a slight swelling no blood . So do you think that might be it? Dog PMT !

I hadn't even thought about it being a season! I've only ever had rescue girls so they come already spayed.

If that's what it is I recomend a hot water bottle, big box of (doggie) chocolates, and a trashy film.
