Next Wednesday so he can get an ultrasound and X-ray of his bladder and he may have to get a GA if they need to put a catheter in Hmm

Does anyone know what he will be like when he comes home?

Also he's getting it done as he dribbles/pees and doesn't realise he's doing it, he's had a weeks worth of anti bs and a urine sample which showed his urine was a bit diluted but vet wasn't concerned, but (touch wood) he's not dribbled in 3 nights, should I still put him through this?

He'll be fine! Bit wobbly, sleepy, possibly drooling, but he'll just sleep it off for 24 hours or so and be back to normal. Don't worry if he's off his food or uninterested in anything. Give him a day or so for it to leave his system and he should be back to himself again.

Often sedation is reversed so they are completely normal when they come home.

Ddog had an X-ray under sedation a few months back

He was a bit dopey when he came home but kept fighting sleep at first so insisted on sitting bolt upright (but would then start swaying). After about an hour of wobbling around he went and crashed in his crate and slept through until the next morning. When he woke up he was right as rain
