Bones for dogs to eat?

I've bought my wee pooch all sorts of different bones to chew on but its like he doesn't know what to do!

When we got him he had only ever had soft treats and his previous owner said dentstix made him constipated

Can anyone recommend something hard he can chew on for his teeth?

Have you tried chicken wings?
Or a piece of antler?

I find the stagbar antlers so hard that my dog loses interest but she loves the fallow deer antlers, they are nice and soft and a funny shape.

I would say though that daily tooth brushing is best.
My dog is raw fed and has bone at every meal including whole prey animals often.
She will still get plaque if I don't brush!

whole raw chicken wings, raw knuckle bones from the butchers. I've not had a dog with tooth problems since I started feeding chicken wings over 10 yrs ago Grin

Dried tripe, lamb skin, cows ears, Trachea, type chews stink are good for teeth. They aren't very hard, last about as long as a dentastick, but better.
