I have a 5 yr old Jack Russell crossed Parsons. I got him free to good home 3 years ago, his behaviour was horrific.
Went for other dogs, had fear agression, anxiety issues and attachment issues.
I feel pregnant with dd now aged 2,5 and really considered rehoming him. I thought it would be a nightmare.
But
He turned it around.

We've just been away for a week, me and dd and DDog has stayed with my parents.

This morning DD and DDog have been inseparable. She can now hold him on his lead, he does all sorts of tricks for her.

I'm watching them now, they are laid on the sofa having a lazy day and dd has wrapped him in a blanket,
They aren't left alone I must add but they really are bestest buddies.
DD has been the making of DDog and it's lovely!!!!!

We adopted a very damaged rescue lab - 2 years old and had known nothing but the inside of a crate, churning out puppies.

Our DDog 1 was the making of her. He taught her everything. It's wonderful to see. We now have a DS and the three of them are fantastic together. It's so lovely that your DD knows the joy of sharing her life with a dog.

Well done you for having the faith and patience your Ddog needed!

It's lovely isn't it Cupcake.

My parents have him whilst I am at university and I have had several videos of him on the beach with his new found 'doggy mates'

DD has been rather poorly lately and he won't leave her room.

She also goes to her dads twice a month and he does mope in her bedroom with his best 'sponser a dog face' Grin

This has made me feel loads better, we have a parsons JRT who has some behavioural issues, I'm really hoping he is good with the baby when he is here, it would break my heart to have to get rid of him

Stinky, you will get there.
Doggy daycare I used a few time and it really helped

stinky I had the same worries - our DDog 2 had some fairly major issues and we'd had her less than 6 months when I found out I was pregnant. If you want any details of what we did etc drop me a PM.
