Comfortis Flea Tablets

Hello

Putting Frontline on my rather manic working cocker is a messy task as she never stops wriggling. I'm never sure if I've got it on her skin or just all over her fur. We do get fleas every now and again so I need to do something.

At our annual healthcheck today the vet mentioned a tablet called Comfortis that might do the trick. I've looked it up at home and it mentions vomiting as a side effect.

Do any of you use it - does it do the job and is your house covered in vomit???

Our puppy has confortis. Happpily eats them & much better than frontline in my opinion.

Comfortis are fine, but they only protect against fleas. Whereabouts are you, has your vet discussed lungworm risk?

We are in Essex. I'm not too worried about lungworm, although possibly naively. Mild hip dysplasia and arthritis in back legs means that we rarely take her out and about for long walks where she could get into trouble - more a garden play then back onto the sofa for a prolonged snooze.
