Yellow Dog - Some Dogs need Space...

We've used a yellow ribbon on one of our dogs. At least then at least we know and we can tell other people what it's for. www.yellowdoguk.co.uk . Hopefully better communication will lead to fewer doggy problems.

It should be common practice that you do not let your dog approach others unless the other owner is ok with it. It still wouldn't stop dogs with poor recall being off lead. But I guess wearing a yellow ribbon would make ppl more aware and act accordingly.

Good idea but as I have never heard of it before now I would have assumed that it was just some sort of decoration!!
Having said that I wouldn't allow a dog or child to approach a strange dog without permission amyway
