OMG we have fleas

I have obviously forgotten to apply treatment as for the 1st time in having dogs we have visitors Blush i have washed, groomed and clipped, washed bedding towels, steamed all floors and bedding, applied flea repellent ( obviously a little late) but i feel so so guilty ( and itchy Sad, as well as guilty that they are here,, is there anything i else i can/ or should do?? the next repellent date is now on the calender my poor doggie Sad

Hoover! The hoover needs to be your best friend for the next week; also keep changing the bags so fleas don't simply hop back into the house. Freeze things like slippers (I know it sounds mental) but freezing kills them. I sympathise because they are complete bastards.

You do actually have one advantage: it's January so they aren't as widespread/ active. We had on outbreak in the middle of a hot summer a few years back and it nearly drove us mad.

So keep hoovering, washing, etc best you can- eventually they'll subside but (promise!) in the interim they will be totally infuriating. Try not to let them get to you.

thankfully i did hoover ( a vax pet hoover) before steaming, my washing machine is in overdrive, OMG they go on my my daughters bed for 5 minutes on a school morning to help wake her guess where im headed now with hoover and steamer Sad thank you for your help
