At the moment I am feeding my 5.5 English bull dog x on Wainwrights large breed puppy food (supplied by the dogs home). He is having the most awful smelly farts, so I thought changing his food could help.

We tried Eden first but had very sloppy poos/smelly wind, some dogs do really well on it,but we googled and lots find it just too high protien.

We then changed to Milles Wolfheart and he has lovely firm poos and no wind at all, really recommend it. Lots of varieties to try for taste and different exercise levels. Our lab is on either cou try side mix or salmon and veg.

Word of caution - buy their samples, tried wolfheart with my boy, introduced slowly etc but after a couple of weeks it gave him persistent diarrhoea.
Where are you in the country? I am stuck with a 5kg bag of hunters mix (unopened).

Markus Muhle is good.

Millies Wolfheart. A wide range of options. We introduces somewhat slowly (i.e. we didn't really know what we were doing). They love it, they have great poos, and only the older one has occasional flatulence, but she is old. Their coats get compliments and their breath isn't bad (I mean they are dogs after all!)

Another vote for Millies Wolfheart, dog went from Burns to Millies and farting halved! Great customer service too.
