puppy crate size

I have a large crate and a divider as aware it needs be smaller at first .But how much room does the pup need at first approximately

Enough to lie down comfortably...if you've bought an adult lab sized one then half or less probably.

I'm saying that because I thought it was you getting a lab...am I right? Lol

yes am getting a lab so brought lab size .Was not sure as its hard to picture size wise , am finish of sorting out a only a week to go
