It's not what it looks like, it's how it smells!! and yes, I thought tht about raw fed dogs too, but apparently it varies dog by dog, I got one who still has occasional 'issues', great!

I have had worse. Camper dog curled up on the sofa next to me, big dog so he is touching my hip. I feel a warm sensation and thought he had farted.....no. Anal gland fluid gone through my trousers and pants and is on my skin!

Does is smell like rotten fish?! If so think same problem here couldn't invite people for a day or two such an offensive I've not showered for two months type smell.

It smelt...kind of like fish mixed with sweaty, smelly arse.

I washed it anyway and there's no hint of fishy sweaty arse now!

Hehehe, it is quite a pong. Yes, very fishy. And yes, a little bit goes a long way. My male terrier used to do it a lot when I picked him up. That action or position seemed to make them release.
