Tips for dog recovering from anaesthetic?

Mine is feeling VERY sorry for himself... poor lad. Trying not to over-fuss him and keeping things quiet, but any advice welcome.

I think just letting them get on and sleep it off is best.
Dpup was very sorry for himself yesterday when he came back from being neutered. He ate a special supper of fish, and just slept.
By this afternoon, its been more of a case of stopping him spinning on his cone!
