a long early morning walk and then a chunky bone from the butcher to strip clean.
I've managed to do so much today without Eric's "assistance" Grin because of those two things.
What guarantees you a contented and peaceful pup/dog?

For ultimate peace, a walk up on the hills where they tear up and down the sides of the hills. Total snoring for a couple of days.

But mine spend most of the day snoozing anyway!

I'm envious of the snoozing Eric has a nap in the afternoon and one early evening for the rest of the time he is "busy" Hmm

A day out shooting, come home for a warm bath, some dinner and then collapse onto the big bed that has thoughtfully been moved in front of the log burner.

The deeply contented snoring from all three is music to my ears :)

... my lovely old girl lying on her bed after eating a bowl of chicken and some Baker's Senior mix. I also love it when she comes and sits right next to me, and leans her body in.

She's 10yo and had surgery last month as she had pyometra.

Every day feels like extra time with her. I am so grateful for that Smile
