Ddog1 has just come in from the garden limping

Won't put her paw down and seems uncomfortable. I've had a look and can't see anything- no blood nothing stuck in it. Do you think she needs emergency vets tonight?

If you have checked and checked for splinters (they can be tiny), check for heat. If part of the leg is hot, there is probably inflamation. Will she let you check her pads and between them?

Had this happen with my old boy. Couldn't put any weight on it but no obvious injury. Took him to the vets and they xrayed and he'd dislocated his shoulder. Couldn't tell from looking.

No signs of. Injury so I wrapped ice in a tea towel and held it on there and took her to bed with me. She was fine the next morning and has been fine since! Very odd! Thanks for replies

Perhaps she pulled a muscle or had a cramp or something. Glad she's ok.
