My poor dog.

It looks like my dog has hurt his tail, he's crying (never does this) and trying to bite his tail and back leg.
Ive called the vet but obviously they've gone home.

I feel so sad for him. He wont let me look so im not sure whats wrong.

Is there an emergency number you can call? It sounds like your poor dog is uncomfortable and needs to be seen. I know that my local vet leaves an emergency contact on the answering machine

Sorry, I was wrapping presents!! Yes I think you should phone around. I am surprised your vet doesn't have emergency / out of hours contact number, but that's not important x hope you have managed to get something sorted xx

Oh, poor dog. Do you have a medivets vet near you? They offer an emergency service.

Definitely phone around. DDog tore his cruciate ligaments on Christmas Day 2 years ago. I called the vet and theyvrang back to advise on how much paracetamol to give him til I could take him to the emergency vet on Boxing Day. Hope he's OK soon Flowers
