Cavapoo has started (today) to hump my arm!!! My little boy has turned into a humpalump,is now the time to get him done?!!!??

Humping isn't always sexual - sometimes it's just an excitement behaviour, and sometimes it arises from anxiety. One humping incident doesn't mean you need to blue-light him for castration, honestly!

Castration doesn't necessarily stop humping as it's not necessarily a sexual behaviour.

Two out of my three boys are castrated (both done at one year old) and they all get a bit humpy when they're particularly excited. The entire one has just turned a year old and the 'casual humping' is definitely diminishing although he does still like a good hump of his blanket after his tea Grin

I won't ring the vets just yet then! He's the first dog we've ever had,we've got lots to learn!!
