My dog has Barking Heads ,he likes the lamb one best ( bad hair day) - he is quite fussy.

Mine like millie's wolfed!

Mine happily eats Royal Canin (the dachshund one, though I doubt they're too different from each other). Vets sometimes have free samples of brands they sell ... that made me think and google, you might find [http://www.zooplus.co.uk/specials/dogs/trial_specials this]] useful.

Our previous dog was terribly fussy, wouldn't eat any dried food at all.

James wellbeloved fish and rice.

Solash of hot water, to soften and feed when cooled.

Offer a meal and if it isn't eaten lift it up again until next meal time. I dislike feeding dogs adlib.

We're on Skinners Salmon and Rice, having moved from Fish4Dogs (simply because it is cheaper). No complaints here, though to be fair ArseDog would eat anything.

Mine flits between Canagan and Lilys Kitchen. He loves Lilys 'Wild Woodland Walk'. If he has Canagan for any length of time he tends to get a bit bored with it so we go between the two.

My 4 month old cocker has skinners field and trial puppy. He eats it but I wouldn't say he adores it. But its good for him, so we are sticking with it - evil mummy!

Thanks for all your advice, will see if I can get some samples of them!

It depends on how much you want to spend. Ours have been on Burns for years and it seems to do them well. I'm told it's a mid-range food. I have no idea what dogs like and how to cope with fussiness. They can be fussy if they're not very hungry so I've heard...

CSJ Command Performance 21 which is salmon-based. £32 for 15kg, my two dogs love it, very shiny coats and nice firm poo. Which, let's face it, is the main thing.
