Hot dog titbits

Trying to get KikiDog to stop barking at the bloody meerkats/animals on tv.

Had some left over hot dogs from yesteday, cut a small amount off into teeny bits and said quiet every time I gave her a bit.

She has gone bonkers. She literally slobbered (and she usually takes treats really nicely out of anyone's hand) all over. She is like a dog possessed.

Is this normal with hot dogs? It seemed like it was the food of the gods to her .

At our puppy training class it was the bribe of choice, they all seem to love it. I think it must be the doggy equivalent of junk food.

My poor boy has not seen a hot dog for ages now. It is his first birthday soon, so might treat him

It's a high value treat. Most dogs would do anything for a bit of hot dog sausage... as long as they can work out what you want them to do, of course :-)

ddog can take it or leave it - but he's a bit odd in that he finds toys much more exciting than food (other than bananas )
