Hot dog titbits

Trying to get KikiDog to stop barking at the bloody meerkats/animals on tv.

Had some left over hot dogs from yesteday, cut a small amount off into teeny bits and said quiet every time I gave her a bit.

She has gone bonkers. She literally slobbered (and she usually takes treats really nicely out of anyone's hand) all over. She is like a dog possessed.

Is this normal with hot dogs? It seemed like it was the food of the gods to her Grin.

At our puppy training class it was the bribe of choice, they all seem to love it. I think it must be the doggy equivalent of junk food.

My poor boy has not seen a hot dog for ages now. It is his first birthday soon, so might treat him Smile

It's a high value treat. Most dogs would do anything for a bit of hot dog sausage... as long as they can work out what you want them to do, of course :-)

ddog can take it or leave it - but he's a bit odd in that he finds toys much more exciting than food (other than bananas Confused)
