Is there a thread about Jasper the collie lost in the Lake District?

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but could anyone in the Lakes - Scafell area in particular - please keep an eye out for Jasper. Last confirmed sighting was at junction of A595 and B5344 at Gosforth early this morning. Jasper is apparently terrified of fireworks so there's a big push to find him and get him safely home today.

I have seen him on Facebook on www.facebook.com/groups/2568576500/?fref=nf Border collie appreciation group. I hope he comes home soon.

JASPER HAS BEEN FOUND AND REUNITED- YAY!!!!!

So pleased to hear this its reported on BBC Cumbria. There's a Just Giving page for the mountain rescue team and its already reached £25,000.

Poor dog.

Years ago I met a bloke on Hellvellyn who'd lost his dog on Striding Edge the day before and had come back to look for it. Always wondered if he ever found it but didnt fancy his chances.

He was found safe and sound
