Help with a Yorkshire Terrier weeing everywhere

My mum is thinking of re-homing her lovely little Yorkie because he keeps weeing everywhere Hmm I have told her I will support her decision but I actually think it's a terrible idea. Anyhow, he is 6 and was toilet trained as a puppy but started weeing everywhere a few months ago.

Any ideas?

Vets for tests?

What has the vet said? Is he neutered? Is he peeing more on walks or just indoors? What is his thirst like?

Yes he's neutered. She will take him out for a wee and he will do one but still end up weeing inside. I asked her if the vet had looked for bladder problems when she went last and she said yes but I'm not sure. I know she loves the dog loads, I just hope this can get sorted.

It needs proper veterinary investigation and then a behaviour assessment if physical problems are ruled out. A bare minimum would be urinalysis.
