My poor puppy has sprouted two hot spots

I swear to God, they came out of nowhere. One, really big and really angry, on the side of his neck and another one on his back. The vet has given us antibiotics and I'm making sure I keep the area clean and dry, but he's obviously uncomfortable as he keeps scratching the one on his neck.

This is my first pet ever so I feel a bit overwhelmed because I want to help him but don't know how other than what I've already done!

Poor puppy Sad

Mine had one recently. We were given hibiscus to dilute and wash the area with, then rinse off (after checking on here!) and pat dry. It did seem to appear from nowhere.

Hibiscrub

Bastard autocorrect.

No flowers were involved.

Athletes foot powder can help to dry them up

Thanks for the advice, off to buy Hibiscrub. Poor pup.
